Withdrawal Instructions

Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

For contracts for digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the withdrawal period begins upon conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform the contractual partner identified in the checkout or order confirmation of their decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement.

The statement may be made, for example, by email, in writing, or via the electronic withdrawal form provided below. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the withdrawal statement to be sent before the withdrawal period expires.

Special Notice for Digital Content

Our Island Editions and Collections are provided exclusively in digital form. The digital content is made available immediately after successful completion of the order.

For paid digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires before the end of the fourteen-day withdrawal period if

• performance of the contract has begun,
• the consumer has expressly consented to performance of the contract beginning before the end of the withdrawal period,
• the consumer has confirmed that they are aware that, by giving this consent, they lose their right of withdrawal once performance of the contract begins, and
• the consumer has been provided with the legally required contract confirmation.

This express consent and acknowledgement are obtained via separate checkboxes before the consumer is redirected to the checkout.

Consequences of an Effective Withdrawal

If the right of withdrawal still exists and is exercised effectively, payments received in connection with the withdrawn contract must generally be refunded no later than fourteen days.

For the refund, the same means of payment used for the original transaction will generally be used unless otherwise agreed.

If the right of withdrawal for digital content has already expired in accordance with the above requirements, there is no longer a statutory right of withdrawal.

If your right of withdrawal still exists, you can submit your withdrawal electronically below, or use the downloadable, printable withdrawal form (PDF) and send it to us by post or email. Use of either option is not mandatory; any other clear statement is equally valid.
